VegNews Nominated for Four Maggie Awards
Nominations were announced just today in one of the country's most prestigious magazine industry awards.
The 2017 Maggie Award nominations were announced today, and VegNews earned a spot in four categories. Each year, media professionals from around the country convene to judge the most compelling, interesting, and well-designed publications to determine winners in one of the magazine industry's most prestigious awards. VegNews is among an elite group that garnered such a high number of nominations, in categories ranging from Best Lifestyle Magazine and Best Website to Best Cover Design and Best Social Media. VegNews has won a total of 16 Maggie Awards, and this year's winners will be announced in late Apriil at a Los Angeles awards banquet. According to VegNews Publisher Colleen Holland, "We're incredibly honored to receive these Maggie Award nominations. Our team is passionate about creating the best magazine and digital experience on the planet, and it feels wonderful to be recognized by such a prestigious body of industry professionals." This year marks the 66th annual Western Publishing Association's Maggie Awards.
