Halo Top Opens Scoop Shop with Vegan Ice Cream Options
The popular ice-cream brand will serve two flavors of vegan ice cream and vegan cookie sandwiches at its upcoming scoop shop in Los Angeles.
Ice-cream brand Halo Top will debut the second location of its scoop shop concept in Los Angeles on April 24. The business will feature soft-serve and ice-cream scoops in a number of its popular flavors, including two vegan options: Chocolate and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. The two flavors can be ordered in a cup (as all cones contain animal products) and can be used to create a cookie sandwich with the shop’s vegan-friendly cookie. Guests can order several plant-based toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts, and carob chips, as well as “accidentally” vegan Fruity Pebbles, Oreo cookies, and sprinkles. Last year, Halo Top entered the vegan ice-cream industry with its first line of non-dairy coconut milk-based ice cream flavors in seven varieties: Peanut Butter Cup, Chocolate, Oatmeal Cookie, Sea Salt Caramel, Caramel Macchiato, Cinnamon Roll, and Chocolate Covered Banana. In February, the brand added seven more flavors to double its dairy-free line.
