16-Year-Old Amazon Show Star Aubrey Miller is Vegan

The animal advocate and teen star of Amazon Prime Show Just Add Magic hopes to inspire her young fans to go vegan.

In a recent interview with media outlet Cheddar, teen actress Aubry Miller discussed her vegan lifestyle. Miller plays Hannah on Amazon Prime show Just Add Magic, which centers around three girls who find an old cookbook that they discover has magical powers. Miller—who has been vegetarian from birth—revealed that creating her character on the show was a collaborative effort with Amazon Prime, which allowed the young starlet to provide input regarding her signature style (a headband), bedroom décor, and her love for cooking. “I actually eat so many wonderful dishes that are plant-inspired,” Miller said. “Every food that I eat on the show is all vegan. They’ve made fish, beef Wellington, and all these different foods vegan-style, which I appreciate so much.” Miller hopes to eventually pen a cookbook of her own geared toward teens to inspire them to cook plant-based dishes. “I’m a huge animal advocate,” Miller said. “So not only do I prefer being vegan for my own healthy lifestyle, I do it for the animals as well because I think that’s so important."
