Evanna Lynch Creates Vegan Holiday Gift Basket

The Harry Potter star is wishing her fans a magical holiday season with a limited-edition gift basket filled with vegan chocolate frogs, almond-butter caramel cups, and cruelty-free bath bombs.

Vegan actress Evanna Lynch—of Harry Potter fame—debuted this week a limited-edition vegan holiday basket. Lynch partnered with peta2—the youth-based faction of animal-rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)—to create the holiday offering, which is available to order online now until December. Each basket ($59.99) comes with a "Vegans Are Magical" unisex T-shirt, PETA bunny recycled-aluminum necklace, lavender bath bomb, a box of green olives marinated with lemon and oregano, vegan pâté from Tartex, PETA dark drinking chocolate from Sjaak's Organic Chocolates, a set of three frog-shaped dark chocolates, and a vegan almond butter caramel cup. “These enchanting offerings are proof of magic—vegan magic," Lynch said. "My friends at PETA and I encourage everyone to cast a compassionate spell for animals this holiday season by eating and shopping vegan.” Lynch often uses her fame to advocate for animals and recently launched vegan podcast The Chick Peeps.
