Vegan Ice Cream Brand NadaMoo! Debuts at Stater Bros.
The Southern California grocery chain will offer Austin-based NadaMoo's 14 coconut milk-based ice cream flavors including The Rockiest Road, Birthday Cake, and Himalayan Salted Caramel.
This week, Austin-based vegan ice cream brand NadaMoo! will debut at Stater Brothers Markets across Southern California. The family-owned brand offers 14 varieties of coconut milk-based ice cream in flavors such as The Rockiest Road, Birthday Cake, Himalayan Salted Caramel, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Cookie Dough Fudge. The partnership between NadaMoo! and Stater Brothers is a testament to the continued growth of consumer demand for plant-based ice cream, which is augmenting the way supermarkets usually introduce new products. Stater Brothers did not conduct a customary trial run with limited flavors, and instead, agreed to stock all 14 varieties of NadaMoo! ice cream pints on two shelves in the freezer aisle at all Stater Brothers locations. “We are excited to be reaching more of our fans in Southern California and couldn’t think of a better partner in this endeavor,” NadaMoo! CEO Daniel Nicholson said. In December, the company raised $4 million in venture capital led by Canadian firm InvestEco and plans to use the funds to expand its distribution.
