Vegan Doctor Takes Off on Tour to Heal America

Plant-based medicine pioneer T. Colin Campbell and his son Nelson Campbell—creator of vegan documentary Plant Pure Nation—will travel the country to teach underserved communities about the benefits of veganism.

Acclaimed vegan doctor T. Colin Campbell—a pioneer of the idea that a plant-based diet is key to optimal health—will begin a national tour January 20 to teach communities about the benefits of eliminating animal products from their diets. The tour will being in Tampa, FL ,where a crew will gather footage from presentations given to the local community by Campbell and his son Nelson Campbell—the creator of influential vegan documentary, PlantPure Nation. Clips from the presentations—currently also scheduled for viewings in New York, NY, Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, St. Louis, MO, and San Diego, CA—will be streamed live and eventually edited to create a full-length documentary called Healing America. “We will communicate ideas that go beyond health to bring people of varied interests and communities together,” Nelson Campbell said. “It is time to go beyond health, to make larger connections that can join communities heretofore working apart into a more unified force for change, including change that extends into the political sphere.”
