Apparel Brand Drops Leather in New Vegan Beanie Line
Love Your Melon releases eight vegan beanies with faux-leather patches in time for fall.
Minnesota-based apparel company Love Your Melon debuted this week a new line of all-vegan beanies. The company now offers eight colors of headwear that feature its signature leather patch—but made without animal-products. “Our product design and manufacturing teams have been working to develop a faux-leather patch that our customers have been asking about for a while,” Chloe Cunagin, Love Your Melon merchandise director, said. “We’re proud to include this new vegan option in our lineup of American-manufactured products and are proud to launch this option just in time for beanie season.” The company plans to add new vegan beanie colors on “Cyber Monday,” while half of the profits Love Your Melon generates from sales will go to benefit partner charities fighting pediatric cancer.
