Vegan Brand Debuts Nude Nail Polish for All Skin Tones

Mented Cosmetics is making new tones that create the desired "nude" look for people of color.

Vegan beauty brand Mented Cosmetics recently launched the Nude Nail Collection, a line of nude nail polishes, with people of color in mind. The new line includes three shades—Pinkish, Yes We Tan, and Brown & Bougie—that help people of all skin tones achieve a “nude” look. “We started Mented because we believe every woman should be able to find herself in the world of beauty,” the company’s founders and Harvard Business school graduates KJ Miller and Amanda E. Johnson told Allure. “No one deserves to be an afterthought, and our products celebrate the beauty of all hues.” The company also sells a collection of nude lipstick hues—in Peach Please, Brand Nude, Brown Bear, Dark Knight, and more—that complement a variety of skin tones.
