Vegan-friendly men’s grooming boutique Manscape & Massage Clinic (M&M) will host its grand opening on October 1 in Oklahoma City, OK. Founded by Eric and Ben Grunewald, the shop’s mission is to create a classic barbershop atmosphere fused with a modern spa experience tailored to men. “An amazing feature of same sex couples is the ability to share almost everything,” the Grunewalds told VegNews. “We noticed that due to us being an interracial couple—having very different textures of hair—our haircare and grooming products could never be shared.” The duo launched M&M so that men could share services administered by professionals that are experienced in all hair types and use products suitable for all. M&M offers a variety of spa and grooming services such as beard trims, waxing, facials, and manicures using its line of proprietary organic men’s grooming products (called Manscape Supply Co.)—11 of 12 of which are vegan, as one product includes locally sourced beeswax. The shop also features beard combs made from reclaimed wood and faux boar hair, four comfortable vegan leather barber chairs, and a menu of massages performed using only vegan scrubs and oils. Services at M&M are available by appointment only.
