Vegan Sushi Bar to Hit the Las Vegas Strip

Restaurateur Kenny Chye announced plans this week to open the first vegan fine-dining restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. While Chye did not announce details regarding the opening date or the exact location, the restaurant will be called “Okra” and will feature an all-vegan sushi bar and an array of Asian-inspired organic dishes. Chye is known in Las Vegas for his vegetarian and vegan ventures, including Chinatown mainstay Veggie House. Last year, Chye opened Las Vegas’ first vegan drive-thru, VegeWay (billed as the vegan version of In-N-Out Burger) and expanded the fast food concept to a second location earlier this year.
