Pamela Anderson Urges Kim Kardashian to Ditch Fur

The actress appears on Good Morning Britain to nudge the reality star to make more compassionate fashion choices.

Baywatch actress/animal advocate Pamela Anderson recently penned a letter to reality star Kim Kardashian urging her to stop wearing fur. “Kim has a great heart,” Anderson said on-air during this week’s appearance on Good Morning Britain, “and I know she is a great influencer. She has millions of followers around the world.” Anderson explained that she wrote the letter and saw Kardashian at New York’s Fashion Week, but has yet to receive a response. Earlier this year, a White House spokesperson revealed that Melania Trump no longer wears fur after Anderson sent the first lady a vegan faux fur encouraging her to stop wearing animal skins. Anderson has advocated for animals in many ways in recent years, including convincing the mayor of Jackson, MS—recognized as the “Fattest City in America”—to go vegan to set an example for residents.
