Tofurky Now Available at 1,000 Stores in Australia

The iconic vegan meat company debuts at Woolworths stores across the continent.

Oregon-based vegan brand Tofurky debuted today at nearly 1,000 locations of grocery chain Woolworths across Australia. Tofurky founder Seth Tibbott made the announcement that Tofurky’s expansion into Australia is part of Woolworths’—the largest supermarket chain in Australia—new initiative to offer more plant-based foods. “It is a very rewarding feeling thinking of the impact that Tofurky products have had over 37 years,” Tibbott said in a video announcement. “We’re just so thrilled to be part of Woolworths’ expansion of the plant-based food set because they have a good vision of the future, and we want to be part of that." Woolworths now sells a four Tofurky products (Beer Brat Sausages, Smoked Ham Deli Slices, Lightly Seasoned Slow Roasted Chick’n, and Jumbo Hot Dogs) and has expanded internationally in recent years, including last year’s launch of Tofurky grab-and-go sandwiches in the United Kingdom.
