UK Store Superdrug Opens Vegan Outlet for the Summer

United Kingdom-based retailer Superdrug launched this month a vegan outlet that it will operate for three months in Shoreditch. “The Little Vegan Pop-Up Shop by Superdrug” features beauty items such as bath and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, face masks, sunscreen, cleansers, creams, and men’s grooming products. “Veganism continues to grow in popularity, and for the past few years Superdrug has been focusing on changing formulations to be able to offer its biggest ever range of products which are suitable for vegans,” the brand stated. This month, a report compiled by research firm THE NPD Group revealed that sales of vegan beauty products in the UK have increased by 38 percent between February 2017 and January 2018.
