Banana Fruit Smoothie

Get a boost with this delicious smoothie.

Serves 1

What You Need:

  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 ripe pear, peach, apple, nectarine, or 10 strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fruit juice
  • 1 teaspoon flax oil (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons tahini or nut butter (optional)
  • 4 dates, pitted (optional)
  • Handful of raisins (optional)


What You Do:


  1. Pour all ingredients into a blender
  2. For a sweeter smoothie without the fruit juice, be sure to use ripe fruit
  3. Add tahini or nut butter only if you need more calories in your diet (for example, if you're on a raw diet). Add flax oil for additional calories, as well as the Omega benefits.
  4. For extra sweetness, add dates and/or raisins.
