Caramelized Banana

These sweet bananas are the perfect topping for Cupcake Wars winner Doron Petersan's Chocolate Seltzer Cupcake.

Makes topping for 12 cupcakes

What You Need:           

¼ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon non-hydrogenated margarine
2 ripe bananas, sliced
1 tablespoon rum

What You Do:

1. In a small saucepan over medium-heat, melt brown sugar and margarine. Once sugar is completely melted, add sliced bananas. Let it come to a boil and thicken to desired texture.

2. Add rum and mix. Remove from heat and let cool.
