This Week's Must-Have

Chocolate-Banana Bites

Pack extra potassium by noshing on these sweet and simple cocoa-covered treats.

June has arrived, and camping season is at its prime. Dining in the woods sounds romantic, but its vegan reality is a little less ooh-la-la and a little more beans- and trail mix-centric. But color us charmed to uncover Barnana chocolate-banana bites (deceptively not actually a bar), which would make the perfect addition to any backpacking snack pack or campfire menu. In addition to being convenient and cute, these tasty nubs of one of our favorite fruits are gluten-free, raw, and vegan, rich in protein and fiber, and a great alternative to candy bars (which, as you may have heard, are somewhat lacking in the nutritional-value department). Toss them in your knapsack with your sleeping bag and s’mores fixings, and you’re good to go.
