This Week's Must-Have

Vegan Ice Cream

Beat the heat by savoring scoops of cool, creamy, soy-based ice cream.

When temperatures climb and the chimes of ice-cream trucks fill the streets, it’s hard not to crave a scoop to take the edge off. Dairy-free options are abundant, with soy, rice, hemp, almond, and coconut being just a few of the varieties that make our frozen fantasies cruelty-free. One of the newest players in the vegan ice-cream game, Dream Kream, comes straight from Soul Vegetarian Restaurant in Atlanta, GA. We give the thumbs up to the creation’s smooth consistency and classic flavors such as Mint Chocolate Chip, Coffee, and Butter Pecan, which we consumed in tandem for a wild and crazy sundae experience. Stock a few pints in your freezer, but beware that they may not last long. Coffee ice cream with chocolate sauce and vegan marshmallows? Dreams do come true!
