PETA Searches for the Most Veg-Friendly Campus

College campuses nationwide are in the running for being considered the most vegan-friendly.

On November 15, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals will announce the most veg-friendly large and small universities in the US. Currently, the organization is at its second of five rounds of voting and some of the top contenders for the large school category include the University of New Hampshire, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Cornell University, and University of Connecticut. Some of the universities in the small school category include College of the Atlantic, Bennington College, Smith College, and Brown University. Voting for this round will close by October 23. Last year’s winners included University of California Santa Cruz for the large school category and Northwestern University for the small school category.
