Fright Night Salsa

The hidden heat in this easy-to-make salsa will scare (and delight!) your party guests.
Serves 6
What You Need:
3 ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and chopped
3 scallions finely diced, light green and white parts only
1 red or green bell pepper, diced
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Minced, stemmed, and seeded jalapeños, to taste
5/8 tsp hot sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
What You Do:
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
