NYPD Pizza Makes Vegan Option with Daiya Cheese

New York Pizza Dept. adds dairy- and gluten-free pizzas to the menu for World Vegan Month.

Scottsdale, AZ-based pizzeria New York Pizza Dept. has introduced vegan pizza and gluten-free options to the menu in honor of World Vegan Month. The dairy-free specialty pizza option called, The Veganizza, is topped with spinach, garlic, Roma tomatoes, basil, and Daiya vegan cheese, and is currently available in all NYPD locations nationwide. CEO Richard Stark states that the company is dedicated to providing customers with food options that fit their diet and lifestyle. In addition to the The Veganizza, NYPD has also launched its gluten-free menu, which nearly every restaurant location has adopted. Stark also added that he sees a growing need for healthier restaurant options and that the demand for healthy alternatives is only going to grow.
