Lifelong Vegetarian Fathers a Child at 96

A meat-free Indian resident is possibly the oldest man to father a child.

Ramjeet Raghav, a 96-year-old man from Kharkhoda, India, became the oldest person in the world to have a child. Raghav says he wakes up around five in the morning and goes to bed no later than eight at night. The 96-year-old also says that he works on the fields daily and takes two-hour naps every day. Besides his active lifestyle and sleeping habits, Raghav credits a diet of vegetarian food with providing him with strength and vitality. Raghav follows in the footsteps of Karam and Katari Chand, who credit their 87-year marriage in part to their meat-free diets.
