Mohawk Bend and Local Author Create Veg Menu

Vegan-friendly restaurant and Pure Vegan author join forces to create a Meatless Monday menu.

On December 17, vegan-friendly Los Angeles-area restaurant Mohawk Bend, alongside Pure Vegan’s Joseph Shuldiner, are hosting a Meatless Monday event with hopes that patrons will realize how delicious meat- and dairy-free food can be. Featuring dishes in Shuldiner’s book full of 70 plant-based and gourmet recipes, the three-course menu will include Celery Root and Fennel Chowder; Polenta with Wild Mushrooms, Hazelnuts, and Figs; and Pistachio Olive Oil Cake. Reservations are currently being taken and guests will have the opportunity to get signed copies of Pure Vegan and speak to Shuldiner at the event.
