Vegan Diet Leads to Weight Loss for Boy George

Boy George posts pictures of a much slimmer and healthier self.

Boy George may be known for his colorful get-ups and big personality, but the Culture Club crooner isn’t as big as he used to be, size-wise. Earlier this week, the ‘80s singer set the internet on fire when he posted a picture of himself on Twitter, showing a much thinner frame. News outlets such as People magazine were quick to pick up the dramatic weight loss story, divulging that Boy George’s secret to shedding the pounds was following dietician Amelia Freer’s nutrition plan; Freer often posts meat-free recipes on her blog. Boy George tweeted about being plant-based last September, and shares pictures of his meatless meals frequently.
