Anne Hathaway Flaunts Vegan Shoes at Oscars

The Oscar winner had cruelty-free heels custom-made for the evening by Giuseppe Zanotti.

At Sunday night’s 2013 Academy Awards, vegan actress Anne Hathaway made headlines by taking home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Fantine in Les Misérables—but she also sported cruelty-free fashion in the form of custom-made Giuseppe Zanotti high-heeled sandals, accompanying her pale pink Prada gown. According to Ecorazzi, Hathaway has sported vegan Jimmy Choo and Aldo shoes at previous events during this award season, and even leather-free knee-high boots by Tom Ford at the December premiere of her film. Other vegan actors who were nominated for Oscars this year include The Master’s Joaquin Phoenix and Zero Dark Thirty’s Jessica Chastain.
