Tia Mowry and Husband Cory Adopt a Vegan Diet

The Sister, Sister star has been eating a plant-based diet since January, and she shares one of her homemade creations on Alicia Silverstone’s vegan blog.

Nineties sitcom actress Tia Mowry joined the ranks of cruelty-free celebrities when she and her husband Cory went vegan in January. The Sister, Sister star has taken a shining to the cookbook The Kind Diet written by fellow actress Alicia Silverstone. “Alicia’s book has been a saving grace,” writes Mowry as a guest blogger on Silverstone’s site The Kind Life. “The recipes in it are sooo amazing, and I always make sure to bring it with me when I go grocery shopping.” Mowry concocts her own plant-based creations as well, and she notes that going vegan allows her to experiment with ingredients. The actress even shared one of her own recipes, Vegan Ginger Acorn Squash Soup, that’s made with coconut oil, ginger root and chopped vegetables.
