US News to Host a Plant-Based Living Twitter Chat

US News has teamed up with two vegan experts to answer questions about cruelty-free living.

In 2013, US News and World Report announced its annual Best Diets rankings, debuting an exclusively plant-based diets category with vegetarianism listed at number four and veganism taking the number seven spot. Following the release of the list, the news outlet plans to explore plant-based living in depth with a live Twitter chat on March 18th. Curious minds can tweet questions, comments, and recipes to the chat’s moderators: plant-based dietician Julieanna Hever and cookbook author Dreena Burton. The duo will discuss the benefits of veganism for health, animals, and the environment.
