PCRM: Go Vegan and Feel the Benefits of Veg Living

The nonprofit medical organization encourages everyone to ditch animal-products for 21 days.

VegNews is partnering with the Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine in April on PCRM’s campaign 21-day Vegan Kickstart, which asks everyone to try veganism for 21 days. From the first to the 21st of every month, participants will have access to numerous resources such as a daily meal guide, a community forum to answer any questions or offer support, and informative nutritional webinars led by PCRM founding president Dr. Neal Barnard, whose research was used to design the program. The low-fat, plant-based diet is a simple step toward achieving and maintaining a healthy weight, prevent ailments such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and can also reverse heart disease and reduce cancer risk.
