On June 16, you can dine with the stars and enjoy the finest cruelty-free cuisine, in Culver City, CA at Veg Appetit—a fundraiser that will benefit The Humane Society of the United States. Animal-welfare activist Emily Deschanel of FOX’s hit television series Bones will host the event, and New York Times best-selling writer, Kathy Freston, will also be in attendance. Food will be prepared by Tal Ronnen, the head chef at new LA vegan hotspot Crossroads, as well as Yves Fournier, the former executive sous chef at New York City’s renowned Rainbow Room. Veg Appetit will have an open wine bar, a food tasting, and a silent auction.
