Vegan Bodybuilders Dominate TX Competition

Team Plant Built placed high among hundreds of non-veg competitors at the Naturally Fit Super Show.

15 vegan bodybuilders recently competed under the team name Plant Built in this year’s drug- and steroid-free Naturally Fit Super Show competition in Austin, TX, reports the blog Vegans Must Be Stopped. Plant Built team members competed in seven divisions, placing first in five of the seven, and also had a member rank in the top four among more than 20 omnivore competitors. Plant Built was started in the fall of 2012 “with the shared goal of promoting a plant based diet in a sport where eating animal products is widely accepted as the only way to achieve success,” the team writes on its Facebook.
