Rooney Mara Touts Veganism’s Healthful Benefits

The indie-flick actress says that being vegan allows her to keep the weight at bay while eating as much as she pleases.

Up-and-coming Hollywood starlet Rooney Mara, who caught the attention of movie-goers in her cerebral performance in Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, recently talked about the health and wellness benefits of veganism in an interview with The New York Post. “Of course I eat, I eat a lot,” she told the news source. “I love to eat. But I’m a vegan. I eat all the time." Earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, Mara was spotted at a vegan dinner party hosted by Nylon and ASOS, with fellow movie stars Ben Foster and Casey Affleck.
