Robin Quivers Shows Rachael Ray How to Cook Vegan

Quivers showed Ray’s audience that the right spices along with raw cashews can transform a dairy-laden dish into a healthy, creamy, vegan medley.

Robin Quivers recently appeared on the The Rachael Ray Show to prepare a vegan Cream of Mushroom Soup from her cookbook,The Vegucation of Robin. Quivers, who is best known as a radio personality on the Howard Stern Show, became a vegan advocate after a plant-based diet helped her battle cancer. During the show, Ray and Quivers talked about how the garlic, fennel, and coriander delivered a delicious flavor and powerful aroma—without sacrificing health—and how raw cashews gave the dish its creamy taste and texture. After sampling the finished product, Ray remarked, “It’s amazing. Honestly, that’s the best cream of mushroom soup I think I have ever had … It’s delicious and nutritious.”
