The Philadelphia Eagles’ Lincoln Financial Field was just named the most vegetarian-friendly NFL stadium by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The arena’s faux-steak sandwiches, veggie dogs, hoagies, tacos, and wraps have garnered it the top spot on PETA’s “Top 5 Vegetarian-Friendly NFL Stadiums” list for the fourth year in the row. The Chief’s Arrowhead Stadium came in second place, and was noted for its lentil burgers and grilled veggie pasta salad. Following Arrowhead was the Oakland Raider’s O.co Coliseum and then the Detroit Lions’ Ford Field, which serves vegan barbecue sandwiches and veggie tofu flatbreads. Qualcomm Stadium, where the San Diego Chargers have home field advantage, rounded out PETA’s list with its Portabella Carpaccio and vegan chocolate chip cookies.
