Billy Bob Thornton Talks Vegan Health With People

The film star says that a cruelty-free diet keeps him from indulging in junk food.

In a recent interview with People magazine, Billy Bob Thornton talked about how his clean and lean plant-based diet bolsters his physical well-being and allows him to abstain from unhealthy foods. “I'm a vegan and eat extremely healthy,” he told People when asked what his last indulgence was. “For me, something indulgent would be to cut up two bananas into my oatmeal instead of one.” He also noted that his dairy and wheat allergies keep his eating habits in check. Earlier this year, Thornton talked about his time spent in Calgary Canada, shooting for his new television show Fargo, and how the “cosmopolitan city” was flush with health food stores, supplying him with an abundance of vegan groceries.
