The snack was personally requested by astronauts readying for a five-month mission aboard the ISS and had to undergo extensive testing at NASA’s food lab to ensure its suitability for zero-g travel. “It’s exhilarating to think our product will actually be in orbit, providing a daily serving of fruit to an astronaut,” said That’s it. founder Lior Lewensztain. “This is a tremendous application of our vision to improve the quality of life worldwide by making fruit and its benefits accessible everywhere—now even in space.”
