Vegan Bake Sale To Benefit Homeless Hits LA

Vegan organization Burrito Project LA will receive funding from the noble outreach event.

A vegan bake sale will be held in Los Angeles, CA next week, featuring food from local artisans and restaurants including The Donuttery, Courtesan Cupcakes, Rising Hearts Bakery, Viva Vegan (providing veganized, gluten-free Hostess cupcakes), and many more. Additionally, food from catering company Rafa’s Tacos Vegan Mexican Food will be on hand serving more savory fare. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit Burrito Project LA—a food justice organization that provides free vegan burritos to the city’s homeless people. The event will be held on January 14 at the Women’s Center for Creative Work in Los Angeles.
