Vegan St. Patrick's Day Green Smoothie {Recipe}

If you’re of age, chances are you’ll be enjoying a green beer on St. Patrick’s Day. But before you do, why not start your day with another colorful, yet healthful beverage—a green smoothie? Our simple recipe calls for a mere five ingredients and provides energy throughout the day, which you’ll need for this festive occasion. 
Serves 2

What You Need:
5 large kale leaves, stems removed (or 2 cups baby spinach)
5 medjool dates, pits removed
3 bananas
5 strawberries
3½ cups water
What You Do:
In a blender, place leafy greens and water. Add fruit, and blend until smooth. Add more water if a thinner consistency is desired.
