In 2002 VegNews founded the Veggie Awards, our annual readers' poll of the best of everything veg. It's the largest survey of its kind in the world and proof of the dozens of wonderful reasons why more people are making the life-affirming decision to live as harmlessly, and peacefully, as possible. And it's only getting easier, with new foods, products, restaurants, stores, and travel destinations being offered each and every day. The Veggie Awards is our way of celebrating what this compassionate lifestyle affirms--and one that the VegNews team looks forward to bringing you each year.
