Vegan bakery Cinnaholic recently released its sales figures revealing that the company sold more than 300,000 cinnamon rolls last year. The flagship location opened in 2009 in Berkeley, CA and Cinnaholic has since franchised 13 locations around the country, including in Nevada, Texas, and Georgia. “The response we’ve received in our existing locations has been overwhelming—people can’t get enough,” Cinnaholic co-founder Shannon Radke said. “We’re eager to continue to grow and serve the most creative, delicious cinnamon rolls to brand new communities across the country.” The bakery specializes in customizable cinnamon rolls and customers can choose from more than 30 frostings—such as peanut butter, cake batter, and pineapple—as well as 20 toppings including cookie dough, marshmallow, and pie crumble. Radke hopes to franchise another 41 Cinnaholic locations in the near future and aims to sell more than 600,000 vegan cinnamon rolls in 2017.
