Event company Live Nation launched the Impossible Burger at 37 of its venues across the United States for the summer 2018 concert season, including Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, TX, Verizon Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA, and Ford Amphitheater at the historic Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn, NY. Live Nation added the burger ($12) to the menu with its own vegan stamp, assuring customers that the option is vegan as-is. “As the world’s largest live entertainment company, we want to inspire the millions of people who come through our venues each year to make a positive change,” Tom See, President of Live Nation Venues for US Concerts, told VegNews. “Our partnership with Impossible Burger continues our dedication to responsible food sourcing and is a step towards curating a more climate-friendly menu while providing fans with options that fit a variety of diets and lifestyles.” The company plans to add the burger to all of its 50 amphitheaters in coming months, and, as part of its environmental efforts, hopes to transform 20 of its amphitheaters to zero waste facilities by 2020.
