Rooney Mara Attended Vegan Dinner at Sundance

According to People Magazine, Rooney Mara is vegan, and she and fellow castmates recently ate a special plant-based dinner at Wahson restaurant.

In 2012, we named Salt Lake City, UT the “Next Great Vegan City,” but Park City’s Sundance Film Festival holds its own when it comes to great meat-free dining; Morningstar Farms opened a temporary café on Main Street handing out free meatless fare to festival patrons, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo actress Rooney Mara and other Hollywood names, including Casey Affleck and Ben Foster, attended a vegan dinner hosted by Nylon and ASOS. People Magazine reports the Ain’t Them Bodies Saints cast celebrated the upcoming film and “indulged in cabbage spring rolls, green tea sorbet with berries and forbidden tofu, which is made with crispy tofu, aromatic black rice, coconut eggplant, Thai basil and lychee vinaigrette.”
