MooShoes to Open All-Vegan Grocery Store

Sister owners will be opening a plant-based market next door to their iconic NYC shoe store.

Iconic animal-free shoe store MooShoes will be opening a brand new all-vegan grocery shop complete with a vegan deli, artisan cheese selection, and soft-serve dairy-free ice cream. MooShoes co-owners Erica and Sara Kubersky are currently renovating their nine-year-old Manhattan shoe boutique and are planning on a re-opening by the beginning of September, with the new venture, dubbed Orchard Grocer, opening directly next door a month later, the Kuberskys told Bowery Boogie. The store’s famous cats will also be returning. “The cats are staying with one of the employees until the renovations are done,” Erica said. “We hope they will like what we have done with the place.”
