VegNews Wins Two Prestigious Maggie Awards

This weekend in Los Angeles, VegNews was named “Best Lifestyle Magazine” and “Best Website” at the 2016 Maggie Awards, one of the most prestigious magazine award ceremonies in the industry. For this year’s 65th annual event, approximately 100 judges reviewed magazines from all over the country to determine the year’s best of the best, and VegNews walked away with two of the biggest awards of the evening. “The 65th Annual Maggie Awards once again lived up to its billing as we celebrated the amazing and diverse achievements within our industry,” said Norb Garrett, president of the evening’s host organization, Western Publishing Association. Attended by more than 300 media professionals, VegNews Publisher Colleen Holland was in Los Angeles to accept the awards. “I accept these Maggie Awards on behalf of my wonderful team and readers,” Holland said. “I love sharing the vegan lifestyle with the world and feel these awards validate just how popular plant-based living has become.” Since its founding 2000, VegNews has won dozens of industry awards.
