Houston to Open Vegan Ice Cream Shop

Vegan juice and smoothie shop Juice Girl is expanding to another location in Houston, TX—adding an assortment of new items to the menu, including organic vegan ice cream. The new location, which will be the first all-vegan ice cream eatery in Houston, will feature a variety of flavors including Strawberry, Vanilla Chai, Rocky Road, Green Apple’ade, Flaming Lips Zinger, and Fun Fruity Punch—all of which will be made in-house with cashew milk, as well as coconut and soy bases. The menu will feature sundaes, banana splits, acai bowls, and shakes. The new location will serve the usual fare of juices and smoothies, as well as herbal lattes and prepared vegan meals. This will be the latest addition to Houston’s growing vegan-friendly eateries, including Crave Cupcakes and food trucks Ripe Cuisine and Green Seed Vegan.
