Aladdin-Themed Vegan Makeup Brushes to Debut

Ahead of the Aladdin remake, cruelty-free company Luxie Beauty will create a set of vegan brushes inspired by Princess Jasmine.

Last week, California-based brand Luxie Beauty teased an upcoming collection of vegan makeup brushes dedicated to Princess Jasmine—the lead female character from the Disney film Aladdin. The brushes will feature a jewel-encrusted handle reminiscent of Jasmine’s headband and, similar to all of Luxie’s products, will be made from synthetic vegan fibers and not tested on animals. Disney recently signed Egyptian-Canadian actor Mena Massoud—who is rumored to follow a vegan diet based on his plant-forward social media posts—to play the role of the upcoming remake of Aladdin after an extensive search for an actor of an appropriate cultural background to portray the iconic character. Earlier this summer, Luxie created a vegan makeup set inspired by the movie Wonder Womanwhich was released in conjunction with the film’s theatrical debut.
