Vermont-based ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s announced the arrival this week of its vegan line in the United Kingdom. By the end of September, Brits will be able to purchase three of the brand’s seven almond milk-based vegan flavors—Chunky Monkey, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and Peanut Butter & Cookies. Earlier this summer, Ben & Jerry’s announced it would expand to the UK market due to overwhelming customer demand. In the United States, the company first launched its non-dairy line in 2016 with four flavors—Chunky Monkey, Coffee Caramel Fudge, P.B. & Cookies, and Chocolate Fudge Brownie—before expanding its line this year to include Cherry Garcia, Coconut Seven Layer Bar, and Caramel Almond Brittle. The iconic ice cream label has hinted that it is currently expanding its dairy-free line due to an online poll that asks customers to help decide on its next almond milk-based flavor.
