British company notjust recently debuted a vegan Christmas sweater dedicated to vegetarian politician Jeremy Corbyn. The “Corbs” sweater is made from non-animal fibers and designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, while 50 percent of profits will be donated to charitable organization Oxfam. In May, Corbyn—who has been vegetarian his entire life—announced his plan to invest in plant-based food manufacturers and promote legislation that focuses on animal protection. The British politician/Labor Party leader narrowly lost the general election in June to become UK’s Prime Minister to Conservative Party leader Theresa May. Only 250 Corbs vegan sweaters are available, but notjust plans to debut two more designs in coming months.
