British Lord Backs Going Veg

A British Lord who is considered an expert on global warming says going meat-free is the answer to climate change woes.

Earlier this week, British climate change crusader Lord Nicholas Stern told a London newspaper that eating meat contributes to global warming, and the solution is to adopt a vegetarian diet. According to Stern, if countries agree to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the upcoming Copenhagen Climate Change Conference in December, the cost of meat will rise. Stern believes that humans will eventually stop eating meat when confronted with the damage caused by consuming animals. In recent weeks Stern has also been vocal about how necessary it is for President Obama to attend the Copenhagen conference because of the US's world influence.
