Janet Jackson Celebrates End of Tour with Vegan Meal

Legendary singer Janet Jackson celebrated the end of her “State of the World” tour with a vegan meal. Jackson visited STK Atlanta for her final dish, a steakhouse that specially prepared a vegan dinner for the singer. Jackson was spotted eating with her ex-boyfriend Jermaine Dupri in the restaurant’s VIP section, accompanied by fellow musician Big Boi (of band Outkast) and Dupri’s brother Randy. “STK Atlanta was absolutely thrilled to have Janet Jackson in attendance,” an STK employee told media outlet Entertainment Tonight. “It was a great night, and she’s simply a pleasure.” Jackson has followed a plant-based diet intermittently since childhood and in 2010 told late night show host Jay Leno that she prefers to eat vegan food while traveling, naming the “Chicken” Parmesan at New York City-based vegan-friendly eatery Red Bamboo a favorite.
