New Veg iPhone App

HappyCow has released its new iPhone application guide to finding vegetarian and vegan restaurants.

HappyCow, the online guide to healthy eating, has launched its new iPhone application to help people find vegetarian, vegan, and veg-friendly restaurants wherever they go. Restaurants are searchable by pre-determined categories as well as through customized user searches, such as “Italian,” “fast food,” “pizza,” or any other food preference. Results appear on an interactive map and are color-coded based on how closely the restaurant relates to the search term. Information such as directions, phone number, and websites are all included, and users can also share new eateries with friends via Facebook.
