This Week's Must-Have

Chocolate-Chip Cookie Dough

Whether scarfed raw in spoonfuls or enjoyed warm in cooked form, this sweet vegan cookie dough can't be beat.

In terms of enjoyability, few things rival the hedonistic, slightly guilty pleasure of noshing on gobs of cookie dough, even as an adult. Much dough never makes it to its oven destiny, intercepted in its equally—or even more—delicious gooey form. Of course you can make your own from scratch, but Celeste’s Best Chocolate-Chip Cookie Dough tastes just like the kind that mom let you lick off the spatula, and we concluded through thoughtful experimentation that it is awesomely scrumptious in both before-and-after (baking) mode. The only danger is that it might not last long in your fridge—we plowed through a whole container without a second thought (although we managed to be civilized and use spoons … at least at the beginning).
